1. INTRODUCTION
SHOOTER is an independent online streetwear and clothing store operating through Shopify at mqgrowth.co.za. At launch, we sell to customers in South Africa only.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information when you browse our website, create an account, place an order, contact us or otherwise interact with our store. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect that information, with regard to applicable South African law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you interact with SHOOTER, we may collect your name, email address, billing and shipping addresses, and phone number if provided.
We may also collect order and transaction information, product preferences, customer communications and account information if you create an account. Please do not send us your account password or sensitive payment details through customer support messages.
When you use our website, cookies and similar technologies may collect website usage, device and technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and interactions with the store.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use personal information as reasonably necessary to process and fulfil orders, process payments through available payment providers, arrange delivery, provide customer support and communicate with you about your orders.
We may also use information to manage customer accounts, improve our website, products and customer experience, detect fraud, abuse or security issues, and comply with legal obligations. We process personal information on grounds permitted by applicable law and obtain consent where required.
4. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND THIRD PARTIES
We share necessary personal information with trusted service providers only where needed to provide the relevant service or operate our store.
These providers include Shopify, which hosts and supports our online store; Printify and relevant production or fulfilment partners, which help produce and fulfil orders; PayPal, our currently accepted payment provider; and shipping providers, which help deliver orders.
Where used, analytics providers and other essential service providers may receive information necessary to support website performance, customer support or other store operations. Payment information is processed by PayPal in accordance with its own privacy practices. SHOOTER receives transaction information needed to manage orders and payments.
Some providers may process information outside South Africa. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the transfer meets applicable POPIA requirements.
We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, prevent fraud or address security concerns, subject to applicable law.
5. COOKIES
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential website functionality, remembering preferences, analytics where enabled, and other legitimate purposes associated with operating and improving the store.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where available, the website’s privacy controls. Disabling some cookies may affect how the website works. Where consent is required by applicable law, non-essential technologies should only be used with that consent.
6. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. However, no internet-based system or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.
7. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including fulfilling orders, providing support, maintaining appropriate records and meeting legal obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify or otherwise dispose of it securely, subject to applicable legal requirements.
8. CUSTOMER RIGHTS
Under POPIA, and subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you and request access to that information. You may also request correction of inaccurate information or deletion of information where the law permits.
You may have the right to object to certain processing and, where processing depends on consent, withdraw that consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing that took place before withdrawal. Some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or resolve outstanding matters.
To exercise your rights, contact us through our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding, to protect your information. You may also raise a privacy complaint with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
SHOOTER does not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where such collection is prohibited by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information in such circumstances, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or social media platforms. SHOOTER is not responsible for the privacy practices of those external services. Please review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
